Dear Pilots, dear organisers.

For unforeseen reasons the calendar adopted during the General Assembly in Tolmin had to be modified.

The first reason is an overlaping between the Cornizzolo dates and the Preworld dates So the committee decided that it was fair to give the oportunity to the Paragliding World Cup pilots to participate to the Pre world if they wished so.

Second reason, because of internal problems in Austria the Greifenburg organiser decided to withdraw his event for 2002 and the Committee, after having contacted Brazil, USA and Turkey bidders, decided to run an event in Turkey at the following dates 8-14 September. The Committee warmly thanks these 3 bidders for having shown up so qwickly when, needed.

• The Paragliding World Cup Simmenthal - Switzerland Official selection list has been updated. All pilots who have been selected MUST pay to the PWCA Office their Entry fee (1224 FF or 186 Euro) before MAY the 4th, 2001.

• The PWCA has decided to change its competition rules : The FAI sector has disappeared

• Further to the CIVL meeting that took place in Lausanne on February the 22nd until the 25th, and further to the disappearance of the FAI sector in FAI rules, the PWCA is also envisaging changing its Paragliding World Cup rules.
  The final decision will be taken in 15 days.

  until now it has only been written in German, but the organisers are working on an English version, that should be soon available.
