Today, the competition moves to Valsassina, a high valley in the north of Lecco.After moving to the take-off by cable car and chair-lift, a beautiful scenery welcomes us at the take off area. During the night a cold front passed over us, cleaning the air and providing an incredible visibility range. We can see the high swiss Alps.
A 61km task is set and the race starts. After reaching the first turnpoint, pilot are coming back to the takeoff area to do the second turnpoint. On their way back, the north wind is strong and the second turnpoint area is very turbulent. The decision is taken to cancel the task, pilots are landing in the official goal.
At night, we have a diner and party in a cheese factory in Pasturo and Marc Godefroy is showing us some video shot during the last days.
