For the last task of the Cornizzolo competition, a 82km task is set. Pilots will have to come over the lading field several times for public enjoyment.

52 pilots are reching goal. Some arrive very low on the goal line and some have to land shortly before the goal line.

The first pilot to reach goal is Alex Hofer (CH), followed by Norman Lausch (D) and Americo Sousa (POR).

The first women to reach goal is Petra Krausova, followed by Caroline Brille. Elisabeth Rauchenberger is landing 2.6km before goal.

 

Prize-giving..

The competition winner is Alex Hofer (CH), followed by Norman Lausch (D) and Steve Cox (CH).

For the women, Elisabeth Rauchenberger (CH) is winning the competition, followed by Petra Krausova (CZ) and Caroline Brille (F).

 

The new Paragliding World Cup ranking after the Cornizzolo event is the following...

Alex Hofer (CH), followed by Scotty Marion (USA) and Jean-Marc Caron (F).

Petra Krausova (CZ) is now leading the women World Cup ranking, followed by elisabeth Rauchenberger (CH) and Caroline Brille (F).
