Today's task is a race to goal of 72.8km. From Mont Chéry, pilots must go to Sommand (close to Mieussy), then la Bourgeoise (Samoëns), back to Mont Chéry, Avoriaz, Nyon plateau and goal at Morzine.

Very light wind and ceiling around 2700m are helping the pilots transforming the task in a real race from the start to the goal.76 pilots are reaching goal.

Hans Bollinger (CH) is the first to reach goal, followed by Christian Maurer (CH) and Oliver Rössel (D). For the women, Elisabeth Rauchenberger (CH) is the first women in goal, followed by Petra Krausova (CZ) and Cherie Silvera (USA).

Alex Hofer (CH) now leads the Morzine competition ranking and is followed by Scotty Marion (USA) and Jean-Marc Caron (F). Elisabeth Rauchenberger (CH) is still leading the women ranking for the Morzine competition, now followed by Petra Krausova (CZ) and Caroline Brille (F).

No change in the World Cup ranking: Alex Hofer (CH) is still leading, followed by Scotty Marion (USA) and Jean-Marc Caron (F). Same for the women World Cup ranking: Petra Krausova (CZ) is still leading, followed by Elisabeth Rauchengerber (CH) and Caroline Brille (F).
