Five days... five tasks !
The wind forecast (NE to NW) did not allow to use the new goals the organization set around 110km from the launch area. The first thermal above Ali mountain take-off is very good, going up to 4000m. Anyway, some pilots are gliding from this cloudbase (yes we now have some clouds !) without finding any other thermals. In the past days there was a lot of low savings 50m above the ground, but not today.
The daily reserve opening comes from Tsuji Tsuyoshi, having a big collapse and two twists in altitude. Yesterday it was Oliver Rössel and Matteo Wieber having a mid-air collision. Pilots are carefull with the speed bar as the conditions are sometimes unexpectedly rough.
Paolo Zammarchi (I) is winning the task, followed by Andre Rainsfordalbert (SA) and Christian Maurer (CH).
Petra Krausova (CZ) is first in goal, followed by Naomi Ventura (CH) and Keiko Hiraki (J).

Four days... four tasks !
Once again, a magnificent task in the turkish sky. A leading group of 4 pilots (Mathias Roten, Hans Bollinger, Marco Arnold and Tomas Brauner) are staying ahead of most of the task pulling all the other pilots. Tomas was the best in the end of the task and finished first.
47 pilots are reaching goal, with Tomas Brauner (CZ) first, Marco Arnold (F) second and Hans Bollinger (CH) third.
On the women side, Caroline Brille (F) is first with a 84.6km flight, followed by Marina Olexina (RUS) and Elisabeth Rauchenberger (CH).

Today's team podiumThree days... three tasks...
Third task from Ali mountain, a north-west wind is forecasted allowing the task committee to set a task with a turnpoint 30km west and a goal in the south near the city of Tomarza.
The total distance is almost 80 km. The window is opening at 12:30 and the race starts at 13:30.
The conditions are a mix of weak thermals with some strong bubbles. On the way, pilots are flying over 4000m. They also have to play with different wind direction at different level which makes the task interesting and tactical.
Norman Lausch is alone to try an option in the flats, and lands. Then the leading group with Mathias Roten, Achim Joos, Oliver Rössel and Marco Arnold is making goal with Mathias leading.
Mathias Roten (CH) wins the task, followed by Achim Joos (D) and Peter Frauenshuh (A). For the women, Petra Krausova (CZ) is the first in goal, followed by Elisabeth Rauchenberger (CH) and Naomi Ventura (CH).
Oliver Rössel (D) now shares the first place in this competition with Helmut Eichholzer (A) and they are followed by Richard Trümel (A). No change in the women competition ranking, Petra is first, Elisabeth second and Caroline Brille (F) is third.
Oliver Rössel is also leading the World Cup ranking, followed by Achim Joos (D) and Christian Tamegger (A). No change in the women World Cup ranking, with Petra first, Elisabeth second and Caroline third.
