The east wind allows to start the task early today from the Tapalpa launch. The window opening is at 11:45 and the start opening is at 12:30.

The cloudbase is much higher than the previous days (around 3000m), but pilots meet strange conditions in the air with a mix of east wind on the ridge, and west wind in altitude.

The task is 77km with funny named turnpoint (like "chiquito" - the "little turnpoint") and another one "micro-ondas" (microwaves) as if it was an artificial thermal making machine.

Finally, 33 pilots reach goal and two are landing 200m before reaching goal.

The pilots flew over the launch 5 times today. The public could enjoy the task with commentary from Patrick Bérod, World Cup 2001 winner. As Patrick is still feeling bad because of a cold, he wasn't flying.

The weather was very cold during the first days (specially at night), Henrik Jensen from Denmark renamed the "PWC" as "Precipitations Wet and Cold" !

The weather forecast for the next days is looking like a Boney M song "sunny, sunny, sunny" !

The new team ranking started very well, with 16 teams competing. Aerotact is leading in front of Gin, Gradient and Bigstar.

Alex Hoffer (CH) is the first to reach goal, followed by Marion Scotty (USA) and Chris Muller (CAN).

Louise Crandal (DEN) reaches goal at the 25th place, followed by Nicole Nussbaum (CH) and Caroline Brille (F).

Alex Hoffer leads the competition ranking, followed by Ogisawa Kaoru (J) and Gregory Blondeau (F).

Louise Crandal (DEN) is first in the competition ranking, followed by Petra Krausova (CZ) and Eliane Ueltschi (CH).
