Tuesday October 1st:

Today's task is a 46km speed-run with 3 turnpoints. The weather was not engaging, and nobody thought the task had a chance to be validated. Most pilots are landing before reaching 20km, and many pilots are landing short before goal. Only 14 pilots are finally crossing the goal line after flying more than 2 hours. 3 pilots are landing in trees.

Ogisawa Kaoru (J) is the fastest with 2h03m, followed by Jean-Marc Caron (F) and Stephan Morgenthaler (CH). For the women, Louise Crandal (DEN) lands 160m before the goal line. She is followed by Noriko Mizunuma (J) and Petra Krausova (CZ).

The overall world cup ranking does not change... Alex Hofer (CH) is still leading, followed by Scotty Marion (USA) and Jean-Marc Caron (F). for the women overall world cup ranking, Petra Krausova (CZ) is still leading, but Louise Crandal (DEN) now comes back in second, ahead of Elisabeth Rauchenberger (CH).
